Keelin's Visit

Ryker loves it when Keelin visits. He wakes up in the morning yelling for her "Kee! Kee!" Of course, she likes to sleep much later than he does... We had a great time. We went to Wheaton Regional Park and rode the carousel and train, Baltimore Aquarium - again, Glen Echo Park for carousel and Charlie Brown play, Union Station, Smithsonian, Silver Spring fountain, Bohrer Park pool and frog slide camping and LOTS of time at the Zoo.

Camping in Shenandoah

A BIG camping weekend with Rob and his son, Alex, Anker and his family, and all of mine. It was my dad's 73rd birthday and Jonas' 5th. Campfire meals, fireflies, sleeping in a tent, canoeing, swimming in the river - fond memories of my childhood to be able to repeat with my kids. Keelin said it was "brilliant!"

Friday Night Party!

We had Ryker, Keelin, Annika, Jonas, Steve and Joanne for a night at the Zoo and a pizza party (watching Jungle Book). I think everyone had a great time while Anker and Monica went for dinner.

Silver Spring Fountain

Ryker loves to play in the water. There are activities for kids in Silver Spring every Wednesday. A woman played the guitar and sang and Ryker got wet. He was famished so we went to Moby Dick's for lunch. Yummy!

Lucy's House

Marilu took Ryker to Lucy's for the day. He loved it! He went swimming, played soccer with Kelvin (who also flipped him upside down) and came home exhausted! He is going to miss them all SO much!!!

Sunset Serenades - Marilu's 40th Birthday!

One of the things I will really miss about DC are all of the outdoor summer concerts. For Marilu's 40th birthday, we went to the Zoo. Ryker ran up the hill, climbed trees and wanted to sit on the top of the zoo sign. He had a great time!

Shenandoah

I many fond memories of camping out at my dad's place on the Shenandoah. Ryker has now had his first swim in the river and we'll take him camping next weekend.

El Parque

Ryker loves to go to "el parque." He is now on the big swing, jumps on the see-saw, climbs the rope ladder, sends his cars flying down the slide before he comes after them.
