2 Months

I took Ryker to the doctor today for his 2 month visit. The good news? He now weighs 10.5 lbs and is 22 3/4 inches. The bad news? He had to get a bunch of shots... I gave him Tylenol before the visit which helped, but he had nightmares all day about the experience. You could tell that he was dreaming about it because he would start shaking and crying in his sleep, just like when he got the shot and he's never done that before. Normally, he just smiles in his sleep. So, that's what babies have nightmares about...

Smiling & Sucking Thumb

Ryker loves to smile, particularly for his Avo. He learned to suck his thumb, although he only managed to do it that day.

Barry and Becky

My best friend from kindergarten, Becky (now Rebecca), came to visit with her father, Barry. We had a big lobster dinner and they brought Ryker SO many gifts!

AVO & T

Ryker and I went to Newport, RI to see my mom, "AVO" (Ancient Venerable One) and my sister, Tara. We had such a good time that we stayed an extra week! The weather was fabuous and they liked having Ryker around. He spent a lot of time in the backyard or on the living room chair.

Visiting Anker

Ryker finally met his cousins, Annika and Jonas, in Brooklyn. Jonas wasn't too interested since Ryker isn't big enough to play ball with him, but Annika was enchanted. She told me not to feed him so he wouldn't grow bigger because he was "just perfect." She even forgave me for having a boy instead of a girl...
