Bayside in Lewes

We went to the beach (again!). This time Ryker could play in the water more since there were no waves. Afterwards, we went to Dairy Queen and shared a vanilla cone. I think he ate as much as I did.

Davidson's for Dinner

We went to Joan and Bill Davidson's for dinner. Bill's niece, Heather, was there with her husband, Oliver, and son, Julian. Ryker and Julian both wanted to play with the car so Julian sat inside and steered. Ryker pushed from behind.

Cape Henlopen State Park

We went to Lewes, DE for the weekend. My friend/neighbor/former running partner, Sandra, came with us. We stayed with Steve and Joanne Lamm. The weather was gorgeous (with the exception of HUGE thunderstorms on Sunday late afternoon).

We went to Cape Henlopen State Park. There were waves and Ryker found them a little scary, but he loved to play in the sand. He befriended a guy and they played with his football. Afterwards, we shared a banana mango smoothie

Fairfax Country Club

Another HOT day in Washington so my friend/business partner, Paul, called and invited us to the pool at his club. What a pool! There are actually 3 pools, a wading pool, a huge "adult" pool for swimming laps and a kiddie pool like I've never seen before. It slopes down and has fountains that spray up, fountains that come down. Ryker had so much fun and it was an easy place to watch him. We will definitely go back!

Graham Crackers

We've discovered that Ryker LOVES graham crackers so I carry them everywhere now...

Hot Summer

It is a very hot summer in Washington. Fortunately, Ryker loves the water. There is a fountain in Silver Spring that shoots up water and kids can run through. That is great for a hot day! I also take him to the swimming pool. He wears a life jacket, but has no fear. If left to his own devices, he will run straight in and end up with a big mouthful of water.

New York

We also went to New York to visit my brother and his family. They adore Ryker and were so excited to see him walking. We went to see the "Waterfalls" exhibit. You can just see it in the photo behind Andrew and Ryker. The parks there have sprinklers and Ryker had SO much fun playing in them.

Raindrops keep falling on my head...

Ryker loves the water - at the beach, in the tub, the shower, under a sprinkler. Anker took this lovely photo of him while being sprayed by the sprinkler in the park. All of the other kids thought it was too cold, but he didn't care. He was having a great time, even though he was cold and wet.

Pirates

We got Jonas and Ryker matching pirate t-shirts in Newport. They also got matching swim trunks. Very cool.

4th of July in Newport

Andrew, Ryker and I went to visit my mom, AVO, for the 4th of July. We really wanted Keelin to come but her mummy doesn't allow it. She would have had such fun. Ryker loved the beach! The water is shallow for quite a distance and he splashed about.
